About the Event

We are so excited to bring this special night of music to start the new year!

David Dondero is an American troubadour hailing from Duluth, MN. His style and ongoing narratives are hard to fit into a particular genre. He manages to tackle difficult subject matter with a wry sense of humor. The music is inspired by heartbreak, hopefulness, everyday work, and his never-ending state of flux. Dondero’s lyrics are influenced by the angst of Black Flag, the wanderlust of Bruce Springsteen, the sentimentality of Paul Simon, and the politics of Woody Guthrie. He is not to be missed.

Ramesh Srivastava is the frontman and primary songwriter of indie band Voxtrot, which formed in 2002 and has released a wide collection of albums, EPs, compilations and singles. In addition, he records and performs as a solo artist under the moniker “Ramesh”— 2022 full-length Eternal Spring was preceded by 2020 single “Search for God” and 2014 album The King. He is currently recording new albums for both his solo catalog and Voxtrot. He now lives in Lockhart and we are so happy & proud to have him as part of our community!

The Alamo Brothers consist of the rough and rowdy Richard Allen Platt & sensitive cowboy Hoyt Van Tanner. Together they compliment each other like piss and pool water. (Not my line btw. 😂)

Head down to the beautiful Commerce Hall for three great sets of music on a beautiful January night! See y'all there!
